I get real finicky with lip balms. I’ve tried several different kinds over the years and couldn’t find one in a tube I liked. They either felt too thin after applying, the scent wasn’t appealing, or I had to keep reapplying because it wouldn’t last long. The only lip balm that worked somewhat okay for me I stopped using because it came in a tin (with the state of the world, it’s just simply not hygienic to use lip balm I need to apply with my finger).
I’ve only had this for less than two weeks and it’s immediately become my favorite lip butter. It doesn’t feel thin after applying, the scent is really wonderful to me (sometimes it smells more like earl grey, other times it’ll smell more like lavender... both great scents I love), and best of all I don’t need to reapply as often as I used to with other lip balms. Even after drinking my morning coffee, the lip butter still stays on! I found myself not needing to apply like I normally did with other lip balms but it keeps my lips a lot more moisturized.
The ONLY thing I will say is that my tube cap gets pretty loose and wish it stayed on a bit better. But i just put a small rubber band on it and it solves that issue.
I can’t wait to gift these to friends :)
Such a great product. I got this as a gift for someone too. The convenience of a tube but moisturized far better than chap stick, all while skipping the plastic.
I really like this lip balm. I still need to apply it several times a day but it feels so nice and I love the smell. I need to store it in a secure pocket in my purse because the cap comes off...it doesn't have the snapping option that the plastic tubes have but I like it far better than the plastic ones I'm used to using. I ordered 3 more!
this is a great product. the lip butter goes on very smoothly, has a subtle scent, keeps my lips moisturized for hours, and the cardboard packaging is very sturdy and solid. I'm glad i was able to find a plastic free lip balm that I like. prior to this product i've been using burts bees for years but i'm trying to make more of an effort to buy plastic free products. I'd love it if you came up with a lip butter that has peppermint/coconut flavor
My friend got me this for my birthday and I loved it so much, I bought some to share. It’s pricier than other lip balms but definitely lasts a long time!
Lip Butter - Lavender Earl Grey
One of the best lip smackers I’ve used. It doesn’t dry up your lips quickly after using it. Very happy with it. One note, if it dries out from shipping or from you not using it, you can soften it a little with a lighter and it’s good as new.
I was a chapstick junkie. I’d never leave the house without it, and would apply at least 7 times a day. After I bought the NoTox Life lip butter, it took me a week to adjust to it, but now only apply it once maybe twice a day. I love it and never going back
I go through lip balms really fast. So I wanted to give this a try since it was a jumbo size.
This lip butter feels like butter.
It made out of paper, with a tougher white inner lining. I already made a dent it was difficult to figure it out. It’s a push-up lip butter to get more product.
Its about three times bigger than my burts bees lip balm.
I wore it under my matte liquid lip stick and my lips still had moisture by the end of the day.
I wore it under lip gloss, & it’s light weight and feels nice.
My only down fall is that its smells more of an earl grey than lavender. Which is not my favorite scent. I would prefer just lavender, mint, maybe peach or tropical scent.
Yes, its pricey burts bees pack of four is less than $10 for 0.6 oz vs 0.4 for $12
Overall, it’s great I will be repurchasing when they have a new scent. Hopefully this lip butter last longer than anticipated.
I just got this in today and it is by FAR the most luxurious lip moisturizer I've ever used. I'm never turning back.
