Shipping Sustainability 

We minimize plastic in our packing and shipping materials to be more eco-conscious and sustainable. 

We use a range of packaging material when shipping orders (both retail & wholesale). We use paper tape to seal boxes. We use brown recycled cellulose (plant fiber) for padding and recycled paper to wrap delicate items like soaps. If you see packing peanuts in your order, most of them are biodegradable and water-soluble (made of cornstarch!). The biodegradable ones are off-white and smell like cornstarch.

We re-use and upcycle cardboard boxes when possible that we receive from our suppliers and that have been donated by our customers.

We accept donations of used boxes and packaging of any type at our retail store, including plastic padding. So if you see bubble wrap or foam, it is re-used and not purchased. We choose to re-use this sort of packaging on occasion to keep it out of landfills a bit longer. Read more about how to donate your boxes and padding material!

Please continue to re-use and donate this if possible to another store that does online shipping to minimize waste and give it another life. 

Shipping Terms

U.S. orders currently have a flat rate $3.99 shipping, and free shipping for orders $39 or more. We ship via USPS every 1-3 business days, depending on order volumes and holidays. International orders are responsible for any custom fees and taxes and pay actual shipping costs.

Returns

All bath, body, skincare and refills products are final sale for health and safety reasons and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. Non-skincare, beauty and food products such as home goods and wooden soap decks may be returned within 14 days for store credit of the total product cost, minus shipping fees, with proof of purchase.

If the initial order included free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. The buyer pays return shipping fees, and must contact us to receive a return authorization.

Any returned products must be in a completely new, unused, and re-sellable condition and are subject to manager approval.
