- bundle of 4 brushes total, on sale for 30% off -
The CASA AGAVE® brushes are an easy replacement for your plastic dishwashing and vegetable brushes in the kitchen and home.
Replaces: Plastic dish and general cleaning brushes or general household cleaning brushes.
This bundle contains:
2x EXTRA LONG HANDLE DISH BRUSHES - these work great for dish washing, scraping food off plates, and have a long sturdy wood handle. Because the bristles are on all sides of the brush head, this gets into cups, bowls and pots better than the replacement head brush. With a Moso bamboo handle and medium weight agave fiber bristles, this brush works great for dish washing or as a multipurpose cleaning brush.
1x EXTRA LONG BRUSH | WITH METAL FLEXIBLE STEM - extra long brush with agave fiber bristles. Gets into most gallon or two gallon growlers with wide mouths. This is not suited for narrow bottles, best for openings 1 1/2 inches or wider. Has a flexible metal stem to allow cleaning inside larger jugs, vases, etc. With a white teakwood handle and medium weight agave fiber bristles and a metal flexible stem.
1x LONG HANDLE DISH BRUSH WITH REPLACEABLE HEAD - This removable-head dish brush has a Moso Bamboo handle and brush head, with stiff agave fiber (vegan) plant bristles. It is held together with silver metal wire, and includes a small wire loop at the end for hanging dry.
If you find your brush head is not staying dry, dip the bristles in vinegar occasionally to help kill bacteria. The wood and bamboo are naturally antibacterial but the vinegar will help too.
Continue using this brush until the bristles no longer work or the brush head falls apart, then compost or bury in garden or dispose in a green waste bin. Stop using the brush and replace it if you see any mold growth.
Storage and Care: To reduce cracking, keep the bamboo parts dry and do not soak or submerge them in water. Cracking is normal for brushes over time. They are biodegradable and won't last forever like plastic!
The brush head is fully replaceable so when it is worn out, slide it out from the metal wire and replace the head. Keep reusing the handle until it is worn out. Don't apply undue pressure on the handle or it will break.
Replacing the brush head: Squeeze the wires together, loosen the metal grip, and pop off the brush head. Just slide a new brush head on and replace the metal grip that holds it tight.
Longevity: Each brush can be used for several months or longer depending on frequency of usage and proper storage. Make sure to not soak the bamboo parts in water.
