The Citronella* essential oil in this bar is distilled from the leaves of the Cymbopogon Winterianus grass (from Java, the superior source of Citronella). Citronella is used in candles, perfumes and sunscreens as an insect repellant.
Dog Wash Instructions:
Wash dog with Citronella Dog Shampoo Bar & rinse with water.
Comb baking soda* into dog's fur and rinse with water immediately. Baking soda deodorizes and exfoliates, but should be rinsed off right away to avoid being too strong on the dog's skin.
Apply the apple cider vinegar conditioning rinse - perfect for detangling and softening fur while restoring the natural pH and deterring fleas.
Give a final rinse with fresh water.
6 oz oz bar can last 6 months or longer, for medium to large dogs with regular washes.
The 2.25 oz bar can last a couple months, depending on the size of your dog and how often you wash them.
The Apple Cider Vinegar conditioning rinse bottle is 8 oz and will last for a couple washes - refill at home with apple cider vinegar to save shipping & reuse the container! The recipe is on the back of the bottle.
