NO TOX LIFE® - SOLIDSILK® LIP BUTTER - Sweet Mint: a refreshing blend of sweet peppermint and vanilla, packaged in a paperboard tube.
We always have a lip butter in our pocket, everywhere we go! Our formula is packed with moisturizing organic cocoa butter and avocado oil. We also use wildcrafted plant wax instead of beeswax, so it's completely vegan.
Why do we call it a lip butter instead of a lip balm, or chapstick? Well, lip balm generally found in stores is oily and comes off within an hour or two. Our lip butter is made with nourishing, premium cocoa butter that will stay on your lips for an extended period (we usually find it lasts 4-8 hours on the lips). Our product feels like a rich butter and has a matte finish.

Warnings
As with any natural product, do not leave it in your car or directly in the hot sun to melt in the heat. It could melt and spill if it gets REALLY hot, and the constant heating and cooling will reduce its freshness. Under normal summer temperatures and shipping it does not typically melt.
This product is most fresh when used within 18 months of purchase. Best stored in a cool place to keep it fresher longer.
Storage and Care
Maximum temperature 95º F (35º C). Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 80º F (26º C) may cause hard grains to form inside due to the high cocoa butter content. The cocoa butter does this due to various fats present naturally in it. It will still be good to use but the texture will change and it won't be smooth anymore.

Love this balm! I personally like a lip balm that feels thick and stays on your lips longer. The smell is fantastic! I’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s still going strong! I will definitely buy this again.
This is the only lip balm I use! Goes on so smooth, one of mine got a little melted by the hot sun so now it's kind of gritty, but I like the exfoliating feeling of it, and if you keep them inside they stay perfectly smooth. Bought six so I can have one in every room of the house and in my purses. Goes on so nicely, and the smell is subtle and wonderful.

This lip product was an overall disappointment. When I first applied it, fresh out of the delivery box, it was incredibly stiff and left just a thin layer of product that made my lips feel dry and papery. Thinking it may have been just a fluke from the temperature of the shipping process, I have tried applying this product multiple other times afterwards: warmer days, cooler days, warming the product in my hands, etc, all with the same result. It doesn’t “glide” across my lips, but drags across them with more friction than I have experienced with any lip moisturizer. Too bad, because the scent is amazing.

The container this lip balm comes in night not be ideal for carrying all the time in your bag, as the carton casing might end up falling apart eventually. I love the smell and flavor, though. It doesn't smell fake or laced with chemicals, which also makes me feel good about wearing on a daily basis.
