CASA AGAVE™ Dish Brush

Regular price $6.98 $4.98 Sale

The CASA AGAVE™ brushes are an easy replacement for your plastic dishwashing, pot scrubbing and vegetable brushes in the kitchen and home.

Choose the light bristles for dishes and the dark bristles for pot scrubbing

Limited stock - the small brush has light bristles and a smaller grip, available at a lower price.

With a Moso Bamboo and medium weight agave or palmyra fiber bristles, these brushes can be used for dish washing, pot scrubbing, vegetable washing and even general cleaning in the bathroom. Always test first on new surfaces or materials for compatibility.

Replaces: Plastic dish or pot brushes.

Longevity: Each brush can be used for 1-3 months or longer depending on frequency of usage and proper storage. Make sure to not submerge or soak the wooden parts in water. Hang to dry or place in a dry spot after using it.

Why it matters: Plastic bristle scrub brushes shed tiny pieces of plastic called micro plastics. Unfortunately these tiny plastic pieces are not filtered out fully by sewage treatment. So when you hear about the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" the majority of this garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean is actually tiny pieces of plastic that aren't even visible to the human eye.

These tiny plastic pieces are being eaten by marine animals and ending up in the food chain, being consumed by humans in sushi restaurants around the globe! And if you're vegan, they are ending up in our tap water too. Help us turn off the plastic tap and choose a more sustainable option for humans and the planet.

Sustainability: Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into Asian dishes. The plant fiber bristles are made from agave fiber mixed with palmyra fiber. Lightly coated with non-toxic wood coating to reduce cracking and splitting. FSC certified by TÜV SÜD Czech, Prague.

Agave Fiber: CASA AGAVE™ agave and palmyra fiber bristles are grown, harvested, sun-dried and processed in Mexico using traditional techniques to ensure a high quality and strong natural fiber.

CASA AGAVE™ Dish Brush

This Dish Brush comes in handy

It took me a bit to get used to this dish brush but I really like it and use it daily. Makes Washing my dishes, pots and pans much easier. Love the Soap Block too

We wash a lot of dishes most every day, and I don’t feel this brush is sturdy enough for the work. Probably won’t order a second time.

Doesn’t scrub as well as I wanted

The replacement heads are just brush heads without handles & don’t actually replace anything

Love the actual brushes—they work great! But the replacement heads don’t “replace” anything—they’re just small brushes with no handles. Not useful!!

The replacement heads are for our long handle dish brush with replaceable head which is listed as a separate product listing. The long handle can be reused and the replacement heads fit on it.

Perfect for your no plastic kitchen

This brush looks so sweet hanging by my sink, and the heads replacements are small (easy storage) and easy to put on. Bought a set for my sister, too!!

Nice brush but unpleasant smell

I’ve only been using the brush for a few weeks. It’s my first time using bar soap and I love the No Tox dish block. The brush is a little disappointing. From the very beginning it’s had a strange cooking/fishy smell. Since the soap is Unscented the fishy brush smell fills the air while I do dishes. I’m sure people reading this say it needs a soak but this smell was there from day one.
