I’ve been using the No Tox dish soaps since I first started my zero-waste journey back in 2019. I was so amazed with the quality that I’ve never switched back to dishwashing liquid! The quality has only improved with time, with the blocks being soapier and even longer lasting. Not only do I feel great about doing my part for a greener planet, but I’ve also saved a lot of money over the years! Thanks so much for making such an incredible product. This has replaced my old soap and sponge setup. The bar-and-brush combo is quick, and the brush handle keeps your hands out of the soapy water - great if you have dry skin like me. It also looks really nice on the counter instead of hiding a bottle under the sink. It’s super low-maintenance and works well on grease. Love not worrying about what’s in it!

The large block fits great. I did see the comments about people experiencing mold problems, so I added little sticky rubber feet to it to elevate it so that water does not pool underneath.
These soap lifts are great for the shower and sink because they stay put and so do my bars. The one in my shower has been on a slim ledge that slopes for a month now and hasn't slid off not one time. Helps my soap and hair bars last longer. The Noodle is soft yet sturdy, and easy to clean since you can squish it while rinsing it off in the water. I have put it in the dishwasher a couple of times already (top rack). I know these will last me a very long time. I got 4 of them to have in the bathrooms in the shower corners and for the sinks. The soap bar we have on them that you see is No Tox Life-Moisturizing Vegan Body Wash-Aloe and Coconut Milk Bar. We really like that soap bar. Definitely get the Noodle soap lifts to keep your bars high and dry and in one spot. Oh and you can cut these to fit if you like.
Received 3.158lbs— started buying the regular block from ZWOutlet then after checking I found these bulk here on the site and I will keep using this bar. From the 1st time I tried it has been serving a good purpose in cleaning my dishes so far in cutting the grease.

I really like this solid dish soap. It cuts through grease amazingly well. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it gets so soft so quickly. It doesn't matter if I keep it above any water that might collect in the soap dish. It just gets soft and starts falling apart.
I found a solution, but it might not be for everyone. I put the DISH BLOCK in a woven cotton soap bag. I can either use that bag as my scrubber or a sponge. The DISH BLOCK still gets soft, but it is contained in the bag. This process is worth it to me because the DISH BLOCK works so well and I am really trying hard to reduce the amount of plastic that comes through my house. I actually prefer to use a separate sponge, because then I can rub the sponge on the soap bag to get the sponge soapy, and then get to cleaning. You don't need much soap, because a little goes a long way with the DISH BLOCK. I have not had the experience that others have complained about with "greasy" residue. Perhaps that Is because I use a minimal amount of soap to get a sponge soapy. I also think that very hot water helps. In any event, anything that I hand-wash is spotless when I'm done.
I bought this bamboo soap shelf in late September and by December, it had black mold growing on it. It only lasted through one 6 oz dish block.
I've used other bamboo soap dishes and have never had this issue. So sad! I really liked the size and functionality - but was greatly disappointed :(

I really wanted to like this dish block. I've been trying to reduce my plastic usage and it seemed like a good way to do it. Unfortunately, this left residue on *everything* including the dishes themselves and the sink. I rinsed everything very thoroughly, yet it remained. Very disappointed.

This soap is amazing. It’s easy robuste and so versatile. It really gets everything clean - only downside is its smell. Especially when you’re used to regular soaps (since they are so aggressive flowery or fresh smelling) you need a couple weeks to get used to it. I like to add a little bit lavender essential oil to my dish water! I absolutely love that this product is eco-friendly, plastic-free and long lasting. I purchased the large block for our home, along with the bamboo tray and cleaning brushes. Initially it was great! I loved the look and it cleaned my dishes very well, unfortunately after several months of use (I’m currently on month 6) it has developed a well. This makes it very difficult to use and I have starting tilting it, so that I can use the edges of the soap but those keep breaking off. As much as I love the idea, I will sadly not be purchasing it again.
Our formula update from about a month ago is more concentrated and bubbly, you will find on the updated formula that you don't have to rub the bar much to get the soap off, so it will be easier to use the brush or sponge more evenly on the surface instead of having the brush/ sponge dig a hole in the middle. We are finding that with the formula update we can use the bar down to the smallest piece pretty easily instead of having edges of soap left at the end that are harder to use.
If you decide to give it a new try in the future, that is what will be different!
I bought the bamboo holder a few months ago. I love how spacious it is. I can keep both a dish bar and a sponge in it. And my favorite part it's how the design allows the soap to last longer than conventional soap holders.
The new formula works perfectly! There isn’t a residue after washing dishes and is super lathering. I purchase the larger block because it is easier to use and last longer. Highly recommend the larger block for dishes.
I love my block of soap! I use it everyday since I don’t have a dishwasher. It soaps up on my small scrub brush nicely and cleans pots and pans, not just dishes and glass wear. I also scrub my sink after I’ve done the dishes. I don’t waste any bubbles!
My mother chose this as a birthday gift because she loves all natural, healthier soaps, and She loves it! it couldn't be more perfect! :)
I LOVE this soap! Today I was washing a pan that had a horrible grease stain on it that I originally could not get clean, and noticed it came out without putting any effort into it. So I pulled out my pot with the stains from 8 years ago, that my stainless steel scrubber could not get off. Using a plastic scrubby and this soap, it came off immediately and looks 100 times better than it did. This picture is a no effort scrub for about a minute, and the difference is amazing!

I really wanted to love it but there’s two main problems with it; it leaves white residue on glass and it is too messy. This last point I am having a hard time with. I bought the companion bamboo tray and every time I wash dishes theres thick residue at the bottom that spreads everywhere on the counter. I feel it’s a waste of product. I manage to scoop it up onto a little dish (as seen in photo) to reuse later but then I have too much clutter on the counter.
I know it sounds pedantic. I wanted to LOVE this product (I’ve been meaning to buy a dish soap for years!) so I’m saddened to see the results :/
Love the look of this soap shelf. It’s big enough to hold my body bar and the No Tox shampoo and conditioner bars. However, when your shampoo/conditioner bars get smaller, they fall through the gaps pretty easily. Next time I would get one with much narrower gaps. Still like it though.
