I bought this because I started getting scab like patches (psoriasis looking patches) on my arms. I decided I wanted to give my skin a cleanse to see if that would help because I know I don’t have psoriasis. Literally after the first use the patches started to fade. 1 week later and everything is gone! I now use this on the daily and my skin is in the best condition. If you have sensitive skin I recommend this to you! Charcoal really helps balance everything out just right. Those light spots in the photos are where I had scabby, itchy flaky patches. I tried this product out of curiosity! Primarily I appreciate that this product is biodegradable and compostable. I was a bit surprised at the texture at first, it reminded me of picking up a sea creature. But it works well and has been a good addition to my skincare routine. I like that it gives a light exfoliation and I have definitely noticed my skin feeling smoother. I can't necessarily get behind the benefit of the charcoal infusion as I don't think there's enough scientific support. However, I'm grateful for this effective, zero waste, and affordable option. I've tried a handful of products so far and appreciate their mission, thoughtfulness, and affordability, and have definitely been sharing about them with others.
I use it with aloe vera gel. You can never overdo it this way...

I don't know how to put into words how much I love this sponge. I currently only have the large size but I went and ordered the small size and another large. I've used it on my whole body and my face and I just LOVE it. The first time you use it, it takes some time to get it completely wet...it comes hard as a rock. Once it's filled with water and you squish it up with soap...omg, it feels so nice. It never completely dries out for me but I squeeze out the excess water and hang it up, when I come back the next shower, it's still wet. So there's a chance I may replace it more frequently but when the time comes, I'll be purchasing more. Go ahead and give this product a try! I'd be shocked if you didn't love it!
It’s wonderful! I don’t have to make a trip back and forth to rinse my face, the sponge holds plenty of water to rinse it off! It’s super soft and doesn’t irritate my face, and works up a huge lather! It’s perfect!
Use weekly as detox with body wash, skin feels fresh and smooth after use! Expands when wet and helps suds my body. Would definitely recommend!

Luna Charcoal Sponge (Face and Body)
My face is a combination of dry and oily. My nose has been peeling for months, with no indication as to why. I was using a more aggressive physical/chemical exfoliator for years but couldn't get my skin to stay consistently smooth without causing areas to get raw. I use this sponge the charcoal cleanser. It took a few weeks for my skin to get used to this new regimen, but it's so great now. I no longer peel, and my face doesn't get greasy at the end of the day. I just got the serum from no-tox and I love it!
