I tried this product out of curiosity! Primarily I appreciate that this product is biodegradable and compostable. I was a bit surprised at the texture at first, it reminded me of picking up a sea creature. But it works well and has been a good addition to my skincare routine. I like that it gives a light exfoliation and I have definitely noticed my skin feeling smoother. I can't necessarily get behind the benefit of the charcoal infusion as I don't think there's enough scientific support. However, I'm grateful for this effective, zero waste, and affordable option. I've tried a handful of products so far and appreciate their mission, thoughtfulness, and affordability, and have definitely been sharing about them with others.
I use it with aloe vera gel. You can never overdo it this way...

The best way to gently wash away my makeup and exfoliate my face. I wish I had this years ago.
I bought this because I started getting scab like patches (psoriasis looking patches) on my arms. I decided I wanted to give my skin a cleanse to see if that would help because I know I don’t have psoriasis. Literally after the first use the patches started to fade. 1 week later and everything is gone! I now use this on the daily and my skin is in the best condition. If you have sensitive skin I recommend this to you! Charcoal really helps balance everything out just right. Those light spots in the photos are where I had scabby, itchy flaky patches. Now they’re 100% gone and skin color is balancing out again. Thank you No Tox Life!!

This sponge is even helping to cut down on the blackhead problem on my nose (yeck, right?!).
I love my sponge I really love that I can use it everyday and it exfoliates enough for everyday use. I really love this sponge and so happy I found it and will continue buying it!:)
