Ingredients
Dipropylene glycol - moisturizer that helps with slip and glide - rated 1 (green) on EWG, considered safe and non-toxic even as a food additive
Tapioca starch (modified) polymethylsilsesquioxane - a light version of tapioca starch modified with silica microspheres (from non-toxic inert substance that makes up plants, animals and the sand on the beach) to absorb wetness - ideal for heavy perspiration
Aloe vera juice (organic) hydrated (with water) from inner fillet - softens and protects skin while helping with glide
Sodium stearate - thickener from plants, also a common ingredient in cleansers and soaps for texture
Natural enzymes - fermented enzymes from natural yeast to help zap odor-causing bacteria
Cyclopentasiloxane - a lightweight silicone for glide that doesn't cause build up on skin like dimethicone - washes out clean with soap or body wash - based on silica, a naturally occurring mineral
Golden jojoba wax - a desert native plant wax that mimics the skin's natural barrier - helps with soothing and skin protection
Allantoin - a skin protectant found in many plants and animals, ours is derived from the comfrey plant
Bamboo extract powder - a silica (mineral) rich powder used to absorb wetness and help with smooth application
Phenoxyethanol* (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid - preservative to keep your stick fresh in the medicine cabinet - paraben-free *used at less than 1%
Fragrance - scented with a proprietary blend of pure essential oils and phthalate-free premium aroma isolates. We use the term fragrance to refer to these essential oils and aroma isolates.
How to use
How to refill:
1) To remove the capsule that is already in the tube, turn the very top of the tube counter-clockwise and lift it out. Don't forget to recycle it once you clean out any deodorant residue inside.
2) Place the new refill capsule into the tube.
3) Push down and turn clockwise until it clicks into place.
4) All done!
This concentrated deodorant is strong and effective. Use only one light swipe per armpit. Not recommended for sensitive skin.
Transition period from aluminum deodorant: Aluminum based antiperspirants include big brand products, as well as alternative products like crystal sticks, alum sticks and mineral salt sticks. When switching away from these, you might experience a detox effect for a few days to a couple weeks.
What we mean by detoxing is: you may be more stinky and sweaty at first while your body is ridding itself of the buildup that has accumulated with antiperspirant use. Antiperspirants block the pores so sweat can’t get out. Your body needs to sweat to remove waste.
Re-apply as needed: You may want to reapply during the first few weeks until the detoxing is finished. To reapply, first wipe the area dry, then just use one or two light swipes to refresh your protection. After the detox period, the deodorant should last all day without need to reapply.
How long it lasts
Each deodorant tube lasts one person around 4-6 months with proper application of 1 light swipe per armpit.
Warnings
If you shave, wax or epilate, or for very sensitive skin: As with any deodorant, we do not recommend applying directly after shaving or hair removal, and we recommend using an extra layer of cream or moisturizer (a small bit of shea butter works great) first if the skin is particularly sensitive and prone to rashes or irritation.
High heat: Keep your deodorant out of direct heat or sun (for example your car in the summer) because your deodorant could melt at very high temperatures.
Storage and Care
Keep closed when not using to retain moisture and avoid any drying out.

I am not someone who writes reviews often. However, I would be remiss if I did not write one here.
I could not LOVE this product more. I have attempted to make the switch to aluminum free deodorant in the past, on multiple occasions. This has been the 1st of 8 other similar products that I actually like. I followed the instructions to a T, have not had a single issue with the toxins being expelled or transition to aluminum free. And for full transparency, I am someone who prefers the clinical level of other namebrand popular products.
There’s no turning back for me, am beyond grateful that I don’t feel like I am sacrificing my preferences or needs.
I have already repurchased and I’m not through my first one yet.

I've been using this deodorant for a few years now, maybe since 2020ish. Finally got my husband to start using it (I appreciate the darker packaging change up!) and he really likes it. He's a military pilot and works long hours, but still comes home smelling nice. :) We love the earl grey scent but I've tried them all and there isn't a bad option. Although very pricey, it's the one "alternative" thing we try to splurge on when we can swing it!
This has been my only deodorant for years now. I used to have reactions to many of the brands I tried previous to this, but I've never had any negative effects from No Tox deodorants. I will continue to use this until the end of time. Please never stop making it! Thank you!
These deodorants are oil free which is also what I wanted. I truly see no reason to put any type of oil in deodorant when you're trying to prevent a sweat. I just don't understand why anyone would want to add oil. Any type of oils- carrier or essential. So anyways I just wanted to add that plus to my review(s)
And I really wanted to put it through the test because I wanted a deodorant that was low waste, cruelty free, vegan, palm oil free, and I really wanted it to contain bamboo because I sweat a lot and the typical arrowroot that's in every deodorant doesn't work for me. Bamboo works for me because of the amount of water it can hold. It's just amazing. I learned about bamboo with the Ethique deodorants. I don't care for Ethique though because they have zinc and it turns my skin white and gets on my clothes. So back to it, it has been over 2 months and it works! I love it! It's not overpowering with the fragrance which is what I wanted because my skin is sensitive and it's particularly sensitive in that area of my underarms. Plus I wear perfume and I don't want the scent to clash with that. It's perfect. I just absolutely love it and I am now a permanent customer. Now I know for a fact these deodorants are cruelty free but is it possible for you guys to get certified with Leaping Bunny? I don't believe it costs anything unless you want the branding on your items. But you would be listed on their website and app for free and it's just really important to me. I'll continue to buy either way but if you guys would at least give it thought I would truly appreciate it.
I’ve been using this for years now, and it’s the best deodorant I’ve ever used. All of the scents are lovely and subtle, it goes on smoothly and doesn’t clump up in my armpit hair! It’s also the only deodorant I’ve ever used that not only prevents BO but effectively freshens me up if I’m already a little in need of deodorizing! Will keep purchasing this forever.
This deodorant is great, I was nervous to order it online without getting a chance to smell it, but it's very subtle. Fresh and flowery with a hint of citrus. I get overpowered by scents very easily, and this one I can wear all day.
I do sweat a lot, and have yet to find a natural deodorant that *truly* lasts all day for me, if it's been a long day. This one hangs in there pretty decently though. Lasts way longer than Tom's and certainly longer than Native. NoTox is on par with the brand Lavilin for me, but I like the scent of NoTox better. I alternate this with unscented deodorant from Trader Joe's for best results (sometimes I find my body habituates to a deodorant too much if I use it everyday).
I've been using No Tox Life products since their brick and mortar days in Los Angeles. I don't know what I would have done if they didn't have the online store! Their deodorants are the only ones I'll use. I miss their beard oil.
